Fabio Carvalho is in line to make his Hull City debut tonight as The Tigers take on Norwich City at the MKM Stadium this evening.

Norwich could easily be Liverpool’s next hurdle to overcome in the FA Cup if they manage to get past Bristol Rovers in their 3rd round replay.

Carvalho will be hopeful of starting his loan spell strongly with an appearance tonight.

The signing has caused a lot of excitement for those connected to Hull, and rightly so as Carvalho is a hugely talented player.

Speaking to the media before the match, Tigers boss Liam Rosenior is confident that Carvalho will make his mark at the club.

What did Liam Rosenior say about Fabio Carvalho?

Speaking to Hull Live, Rosenior exclaimed:

“Fabio Carvalho is here because he’s an outstanding player, who has an outstanding chance of playing football, but the rules for him are the same for every single player in football.”

“You have to perform. Seeing Fabio train today, the probability is that he’s going to perform for us.”

“He’s going to make us better. People can say whatever, I don’t care, I don’t care what’s on social media.”

“I don’t care what people say about us, I know where we’re headed. I’ve always said, I don’t have a best team.”

“I don’t guarantee any player that I’ve signed a place and position.”

To get to where you want to be, you need to compete every day in training.”

“So whatever people say about what we’ve guaranteed Fabio or what we’ve done doesn’t matter.”

The Tigers boss then went on to say that he believes Carvalho will look back on the decision to join the Championship outfit as the correct one:

“I can tell you straight, Fabio’s here because he believes in this group of players.”

“He believes in this project, he believes in this way of playing, he believes in me as his coach and he believes in Acun (Ilicali) as the owner of the football club.”

“That’s why he’s here, and I am delighted that he’s made that decision.”

“I’ve got a feeling that he will look back on his career later in life and say that was the right decision.”
