A new report from Ecuador states that Jurgen Klopp is still a huge fan of Moises Caicedo, who The Reds chased in January.
Caicedo was coveted by several clubs, with a £70 million bid from Arsenal being rejected by the Seagulls in January.
As Liverpool survey several options for their midfield revolution, Caicedo’s links to Liverpool have not gone away.
Ecuadorian publication Teradeportes reports that Caicedo has several possible destinations available to him this summer. Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are the three main clubs in the hunt for the midfielder, according to the report.
Jurgen Klopp is reported as still being very fond of Caicedo. The crux of the issue is Brighton’s asking price for Caicedo.
If Brighton were willing to turn down £70 million in January, it’s difficult to see Liverpool matching or exceeding any offer above that figure.
Liverpool have been linked with more reasonably priced targets as of recently, with Khephren Thuram and Manu Koné of Nice and Borussia Mönchengladbach respectively heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the last few days.
Las horas pasan y el ecuatoriano Moisés Caicedo se encuentra en una situación complicada sobre su futuro, pues tiene que decidir entre 2 de los equipos más importantes de la Premier League y tiene un tercero a la caza.
