Dominik Szoboszlai has got off to a flying start at Liverpool since arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer.
The Hungarian has looked extremely sharp in midfield, with his skill and tenacity quickly winning supporters over.
Szoboszlai has, however, named an aspect in which Liverpool need to improve as they go on. Although the Reds have been unbeaten so far this season, one slightly concerning pattern has arisen in their most recent games.
Against Wolves last week and against LASK in the Europa League on Thursday, Liverpool conceded the first goal but were able to comeback and win.
Speaking to Liverpool’s official website, Szoboszlai discussed the need for Liverpool to stop conceding the first goal.
“As we win the games and we can turn the games in our way, it gives us even more confidence.
“It would be even nicer if we don’t go 1-0 down and then we need to get up. If we score the first goal, it’s a little bit easier. But if we have to do it like this then we are going to do it like this. We just need to be focused [and] we just need to be ready for everything.”
