18-year-old Stefan Bajcetic signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool at the end of January, much to the delight of supporters.
The Spanish midfielder has impressed in the middle of the park for Liverpool in his Premier League appearances this season, showing technical ability, quick decision-making and calmness under pressure.
The youngster showed maturity beyond his years and looked totally comfortable in Liverpool’s midfield.
A report by Wayne Veysey of Football Insider has confirmed the details of Bajcetic’s new deal, including his pay rise. The youngster is set to earn £40,000 a week in a deal that runs until 2027.
Bajcetic has made 12 Premier League appearances this season and has scored 1 goal. As Jurgen Klopp is set to undertake a rebuild of his midfield in the summer, Bajcetic has proven himself to be worthy of a place in whatever new-look side Klopp manages to bring together next season.
