Nike are set to release a new Liverpool x LeBron James collaboration kit in early 2023 according to footyheadlines.
The reliable football kit site broke the news today. LeBron James is a 2% stakeholder in Liverpool FC. It has been reported that LeBron James paid just £4.7M for his stake back in 2011.
Liverpool FC and LeBron James have already collaborated in the past but this is set to be the first kit. Liverpool Chairman Tom Werner stated as far back as 2021 about a collaboration.
Liverpool Chairman Tom Werner to @BostonGlobe: “We’re doing a product line with LeBron and Liverpool. Nike is creating 7 or 8 products that connect LeBron with soccer. They’re going to create seven or eight products that rival the connection that Michael Jordan has with Nike.” pic.twitter.com/aBN5gBny4j
