Roberto Firmino is set to depart Liverpool after an incredible 8 year spell at the club.
The Brazilian has today informed Jurgen Klopp of his intention to leave Merseyside when his contract ends at the end of this season.
Jurgen Klopp had told the media that his wish was for Firmino to extend his deal but it seems the Brazilian desires a challenge elsewhere.
Firmino was the centre-piece of a front three alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane that was among the best attacks in Premier League history.
Firmino won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and a Club World Cup during his time at Liverpool.
A Liverpool legend who will fondly remembered by fans long after his departure.
The news was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano below, who quotes Firmino’s agent Roger Wittmann.
