Liverpool midfielder, Arthur Melo has been putting in extra recovery sessions to speed up his recovery.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool coaches have been impressed with his attitude, and the progress the Brazilian has made.
The ex Barcelona and Juventus star has barely played this season for Liverpool. In fact, he’s only got 13 minutes under his belt, which came against Napoli in the Champions League. At the start of the season, he suffered a thigh tear, and has been on the sidelines ever since.
A frustrating campaign for Melo, Liverpool actually have the option to sign him permanently at the end of the season for £32m.
The medical staff at Kirby still believe Melo will not be in action for the Reds for at least another few weeks so his thigh muscle can repair fully.
If he can get back to full fitness and produce some of that form he showed a Juventus, he could be a welcome addition in the final stretch of the Premier League campaign.
