Bundesliga managers Thomas Tuchel and Edin Terzic have now commented on Jurgen Klopp’s decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

The Reds boss shocked the world this morning by announcing, via a video, that his time as Liverpool manager would be coming to an end.

It was completely out of the blue, with no indication that the German was even thinking of leaving before the announcement game.

The announcement will devastate Reds fans around the world as Klopp is widely regarded as one of the best managers in world football.

Under his leadership, the club have won almost every trophy imaginable including the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and more.

It will be his third club now in the history books after managing Bundesliga outfits Borussia Dortmund and Mainz.

Now Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel and Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic have given their thoughts on the unexpected announcements.

What did the Bundesliga managers say about Jurgen Klopp?

Speaking in his pre-Augsburg press conference, Thomas Tuchel said on Klopp:

“I have to digest that first, I can’t say anything at the moment. Klopp is one of the very best coaches in the world, he has always managed to influence the clubs where he worked. It’s big news”

A lot of Liverpool fans will surely be sharing those shame feelings about having to digest the news.

Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp contested two cup finals in the 2021/22 season when the former was still Chelsea manager.

Klopp was able to triumph on both occasions, so Tuchel knows first-hand the quality the Liverpool boss has.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has also heaped praise on Klopp in light of the recent announcement:

“Jürgen Klopp is an outstanding person. I was lucky enough to get to know him here. He has shaped our club and Liverpool like no other”

“I am sure that there will be another station in his coaching life there will be a place where he will do a similarly good job.”
