Liverpool have been one of a number clubs linked with Moisés Caicedo in the past few weeks.
Chelsea, Newcastle, and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for him.
After the last number of performances it is clear Liverpool need reinforcements in the centre of the field.
Caidedo put in an impressive performance against Everton at Goodison Park in a 4-1 victory on Tuesday.
Caicedo was dominant in the middle and comfortable on the ball.
This morning The Mirror broke the news that Brighton have lowered their asking price for Caicedo.
The report says: “Interested parties were initially quoted £85m, but the word now is that Brighton would be tempted by a £60m-plus offer with add-ons.”
