Real Madrid have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Kylian Mbappe according to Cadenasar.com.
The report states:
“The white club rules out the incorporation of the Frenchman even if he decides not to renew with PSG and leave free next summer.”
“Real Madrid definitively rules out the signing of Kylian Mbappé . The white club does not plan to incorporate the Frenchman even if he decides not to extend his relationship with PSG and leave the club free next summer. After being the club’s main object of desire in the last two transfer markets, Real Madrid closes the ‘Mbappé soap opera’ and will not go after the footballer in the next transfer market, whatever the contractual situation of his.”
It is a massive story in the football world as many people have viewed Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid as a formality next summer.
Liverpool have long been admirers of the French national team captain but he will command a significant pay packet.
It would be a surprise to see Liverpool close the deal for the star forward.
L’Equipe reported this month that Liverpool have never broken contact with Mbappe’s camp since their initial interest years ago.
The report claimed that Liverpool still believe they have a chance of bringing the striker to Anfield in what would undoubtedly be the biggest signing in the club’s history.
