John Henry has ended speculation of a full sale around Liverpool as he has declared the club is not for sale.
In an interview with the Boston Sports Journal, the Fenway Sports Group (FSG) owner has stated that Liverpool will seek investment but FSG will not be selling the club.
When asked about the potential sale of the Merseyside club, he gave some very definitive answers.
“Will we be in England forever? No.
“Are we selling LFC? No.
“Are we talking with investors about LFC? Yes.
“Will something happen there? I believe so but it won’t be a sale.”
Despite months of speculation and stories from around the world about potential new owners at the club, it seems that Liverpool fans will be stuck with FSG as the owners for a short while longer yet.
