A report from Sport Bild suggests that Jude Bellingham is set to hold a meeting with his current club Borussia Dortmund in the nearing international break to discuss the star’s future.
The meeting will have metaphorical eyes on it from across the globe, as Bellingham will reveal whether he will stay put at Dortmund or move to pastures new.
Reportedly, Dortmund believes there is a 50/50 chance that Bellingham will remain at their club.
Joining from Birmingham in 2020, Bellingham now has the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City wanting his signature with the former reportedly holding a meeting with his father last week.
Any hope of Dortmund holding onto him for another year would see a significant increase in his market value and wage bill.
However, Dortmund will not wait around to resolve any contract issues, and if Bellingham wishes to leave, they will work to receive the most money they can for the highly sought-after Englishman.
His career has hit another level this season as he has contributed to 16 goals in 33 games for his German club, and plays third fiddle in the captaincy ranking, behind the seasoned Mats Hummels and Marco Reus.
Bellingham’s standout displays in Qatar also caught the eye of those interested in his services as he showed the world what a special, special talent he is.
