Jordan Henderson left Liverpool in the summer even though he was the club captain.
The fact he left alongside Fabinho, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain meant that Liverpool needed to bring some more players into the midfield area.
That has worked well for Jurgen Klopp as Liverppol are top of the league whilst still in every competition as they challenge for four major honours.
Unfortunately for Henderson Al-Ettifaq haven’t had that similar form even though they started the season rather well.
They haven’t won a game since the end of October and since then have only picked up five points in seven league games as they languish eighth in the table.
Due to this Henderson isn’t happy at the club as well as the fact attendances are low and he isn’t happy with the lifestyle.
Bayern Munich have distanced themselves from Jordan Henderson linked
Jordan Henderson has been linked with several clubs in Europe as he looks to reportedly engineer a move away.
Bayern Munich were one of the sides who were tentatively linked but German journalist has confirmed whether the club want the England international.
He said: “Reinforcing the midfield is not the focus at the moment for Bayern amid their ongoing need for a defensive signing.
“Despite that, I have read that there were rumours from England that Jordan Henderson and Bayern could be a potential match as he’s allegedly not particularly happy in Saudi Arabia.
“I heard from Bayern Munich that there are no talks and no interest in the former Liverpool captain.”
Ajax are one of the sides who have a concrete interest according to multiple reports so time will tell if the former Sunderland man will complete a move to Holland.
Bayern Munich have just recently signed Eric Dier who may fill the role in midfield in-front of the backline.
