Brazilian midfielder Arthur has had a nightmare start to his Liverpool loan deal.
He was side-lined in October with a groin injury and has only featured in a competitive game for Liverpool. Arthur came on in Naples when Napoli defeated Liverpool in the Champions League.
He sealed a loan deal to Merseyside on transfer deadline day in a deal that shocked many Liverpool fans. It cannot be doubted that the Brazilian has something to offer when injury free.
Recent reports suggested that he is ahead of schedule on his return from injury. He was part of Liverpool’s travelling squad to Dubai.
His agent, Federico Pasterello, has poured cold water on claims that Arthur’s loan deal could be ended early, he spoke to Tuttomercatoweb
“In January he remains at Liverpool, 100%,”
“It’s something that has never been in question, I don’t know who has questioned the rumours about his possible return to Turin but it’s not like that, absolutely.
“It is not in the contract and there is no possibility because no one has questioned his stay: neither Liverpool, nor the player.
“As far as next season is concerned, we’ll finish the current one and then we’ll see: there isn’t a real right of redemption, but obviously by continuing Allegri at Juve we’ll have to find a solution.
“So, if Liverpool wanted to renew the loan or make an offer in my opinion, they would find fertile ground.”
