Trent Alexander-Arnold exclaimed to Sky Sports at full-time “It’s starting to look like a Liverpool team.”

The right-back created Darwin Nunez’s opening goal with another glorious Premier League assist.

He was impressed with his striker’s finish, “It is important to get an early goal, a good sequence of play. It was something we worked on in training. Triangles to break them down. It was a good finish by Darwin.”

“It is the same set of players that nearly won the quadruple. It’s looking like a team that can string a lot of wins together for the rest of the season and hopefully secure a top four position for the club”, he told Sky Sports.

“It’s about coming together as a group and fighting for each other. It is starting to look like a Liverpool group that we are used to.”
