Liverpool forward Darwin Núñez has been nominated for the Champions League Goal of the Week.
Núñez scored with a beautiful flick to put Liverpool 1-0 in front at Anfield. After Mohamed Salah put the Reds 2-0 ahead it looked like Liverpool could put the tie to bed.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be as the home side couldn’t sustain their early dominance and the Champions League holders proved too strong in the end.
