Mohammed Salah has been one of the world’s most outstanding footballers since joining Liverpool FC in the 2017/18 season.
In October 2021, the ‘Egyptian King’ became the fastest Liverpool player in the English top-flight to score 100 goals. He managed that feat in 159 games.
To date, Salah has scored 127 goals in 207 Premier League games. He has also registered 51 assists.
After signing his new long term contract at the start of the season, Salah’s form came under scrutiny.
His dip in form coincided with a poor run of results for the club. However, in the last four league matches, Salah has scored 4 goals and registered 1 assist.
Three wins from three has seen Liverpool resurrect their chances of making the top four.
Tonight’s game against Leicester City will be another opportunity for Salah to lead Liverpool’s charge back to the top end of the table.
If Brendan Rodgers and Leicester want to take any points from Anfield, they will need to keep Salah as quiet as possible.
