Liverpool travel to Molineux for the second time in a month when they face Wolves tomorrow in the Premier League. Liverpool beat Wolves 1-0 in the FA Cup in their last trip to Wolverhampton on January 17th thanks to a Harvey Elliott winner. The Reds sit in 9th and hope to regain some form by knocking off Julen Lopetegui’s men. Wolves are 17th and still very much in a fight to stay in the league.
Liverpool last fixture saw them knocked out of the FA Cup in injury time. Jurgen Klopp will hope the weeklong break will have allowed his team to regroup and refocus on turning things around. The Reds have just one win their last six games in all competitions.
In good news for Liverpool supporters, Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino have returned to training but are unlikely to be fit to start the game. The Reds are still without Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Ibrahima Konate and Arthur Melo. Fabio Carvalho and Nat Phillips may be fit enough to feature.
The game will kick off at 3pm but will unfortunately not be broadcast live in the UK and Ireland.
Liverpool expected starting XI:
Allison, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Gomez, Robertson, Fabinho, Thiago, Bajcetic, Gakpo, Salah, Nunez.
