2-2 at Anfield

Share this article:

Alisson 4 – A night to forget. An early blooper and possibly could have done more for the second goal going by his usual standards

Robertson 5 – Lively first half. Seems to have formed an understanding with Gakpo already. Always gives a huge effort but no impact in the second half.

Matip 6 – Good and bad moments. Smart passes, and good tackles with a few needless errors included.

Konate 5 – Much the same as Matip. Broke up some attacks but at times seemed shaky. A big tackle on Troare late on could have stopped a goal

Trent Alexander- Arnold  7 – Better defensively and a great cross for Nunez’s goal.

Thiago 8 – Another solid performance. Smart on the ball, dispossessed Wolves on numerous occasions and spread the play well

Fabinho 4 – Looks to be without confidence. Made a dummy in the first half only for a Wolves player to receive it. Out of luck at the moment

Henderson 5 – Played more advanced in the second half and improved slighlty. Some smart runs to get in behind Wolves’ defence in the first half but also had some misplaced passes. More to offer.

Salah 7 – Great goal to give Liverpool the lead. looked bright but still more to come.

Nunez 8 – A beautiful goal along with guaranteed work on and off the ball.

Gakpo 7 – Bright from the start. Worked hard off the ball too. You can see he will add a spark.

Keita 7 – His best performance in some time. Energetic, pressed at pace and created attacks. Lost the ball a couple of times after some good work.

Elliott 6 – Tried hard and looked for the ball as soon as he was introduced. Got involved in decent link-up play

Doak 7 –  Energetic off the bench, had a chance in the box, and should have tested the keeper.

Gomez 5 – Decent after his introduction.

Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain 5  – Tried but not much of an impact
