Liverpool have gone four games without conceding after an important victory at Anfield.

It was a vastly improved display from the Reds with the younger midfielders adding pace, energy, and movement.

Alisson 8 – Steady display. Not many saves to make, excellent with ball at his feet tonight.

Tsimikas 8 – Got forward well. Much improved performance since he faced Wolves in the FA Cup. Recorded his 6th assist of the season setting up Mohamed Salah.

Van Dijk 8 – Solid display. Big goal at a big time.

Konate 8 – Solid display at the back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold 7 – Involved in Van Dijk’s goal. Defensively sound tonight despite not much of a test. Smart on the ball

Elliott 7 – Should have scored and lacked composure in front of goal but busy throughout and always wants to get involved and create

Fabinho 7 – Much sharper tonight. A couple of clumsy tackles but much better on the ball than his previous games.

Bajcetic 8 – Energetic, progressive, and creative.

Jota 6 – Still finding his form. Improvement on recent games, valuable minutes in his legs.

Nunez 8 – Dangerous as always. Unlucky not to have gotten on the score sheet after a VAR check. When he plays Liverpool are better, simple.

Salah 8 – 20 goals by March in a season where some say he is out of form?
