Liverpool went through to the 4th round of the FA Cup with a solid display at Molineux.

It was a vastly improved display from the Reds with the younger midfielders adding pace, energy, and movement.

Kelleher 8 – Cool, calm, and never panics. Steady display. Not a lot to do but did everything well.

Tsimikas 6 – Took some time to get into the game with Troare causing him difficulties early on. Some decisions could have been better.

Gomez 7 – Improved a lot since his Brighton display. Better defensively and his awareness was sharper.

Konate 8 – Solid display at the back. Sharp and used his pace well when balls were threaded through.

Milner  7 – Solid at the back. Made Liverpool more difficult to play against.

Thiago 8 – Another impressive performance. Smart on the ball, and benefitted from more energy around him.

Bajcetic 8 – Energetic, progressive, and creative.

Keita 8 – Good on the ball, some smart passes and got plenty of attacks going.  Broke up some of Wolves’ attacks too.

Elliott 8 – Fantastic goal to put Liverpool ahead. Looks back to himself. Impressive throughout.

Gakpo 6 – Finding his feet. Some good movement but would have liked to have influenced the game more.

Carvalho 7 – Bright. Some neat touches. Good to see him back in the side. Energetic

SUBS:

Doak 8 –  Lively off the bench, and gave Liverpool a great option for an out ball when under pressure.

Salah 7 – Didn’t get great service but worked hard after his introduction.

Jones 7 – Brought energy when Liverpool’s press faded. Could have scored late on.

Fabinho 6 – Needless foul but gave the back four some protection after his introduction

Phillips 7  – Gave away a free on the edge of the box but got into the game more as it progressed. Some good clearing headers under pressure.
