Liverpool are set to take the trip down to London on Sunday and face Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Reds have had quite a torrid time in terms of results over the last month or so. For example, Jurgen Klopp’s men have lost 3-0 to Atalanta and even 1-0 to Crystal Palace in just the last two weeks.

Although Liverpool started the season off strong, of late they have been far below par.

Which, as the Premier League find themselves in their final few games, doesn’t bode well.

In their prior fixture this term, the Reds narrowly scraped past Marco Silva’s team and had to rely on goals from Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 87th and 88th minute to triumph.

Something that does go in the way of Liverpool, however, is that of their last 11 top flight meetings with Fulham, the Cottagers have won just once.

If Liverpool do end up succumbing to the pressure of Silva’s team, it will be the first time which the Reds will have lost consecutive Premier League games since April 2023.

With both of these losses coming against Bournemouth and Manchester City.

One player that Klopp’s men will need to watch out for is that of Andreas Pereira. The Brazil international has been involved with four goals in his last four games (2G and 2A.)

This is more than his prior 34 games combined and shows how strong his current purple patch of form is.

Liverpool will no doubt be looking for vengeance as, they cannot afford anymore points to be dropped.

Especially if they wish to take the title run-in down to the wire.

Fulham team news

As per the Official Fulham FC Website, Silva will have a full squad to choose from for the upcoming clash.

Aside from Fulham, the other 19 teams in the top flight have at least once player side-lined.

Which, for the Cottagers is evidently a boost as they have freedom to rotate their squad if and when needed.

Talisman, Rodrigo Muniz will be looking to end a three game goal drought after winning March’s Premier League Player of the Month award.

The striker has fulfilled the gap left by Aleksander Mitrovic perfectly and will likely lead the London-based clubs front line for many seasons to come.

Liverpool team news

The Reds, as has been the case for the vast majority of the season, will be without a handful of their first-team squad.

The trio of Joel Matip, Ben Doak and Thiago Alcantara will all still be absent from the squad as they each nurse their respective long-term injuries.

Conor Bradley will also miss the tie as it was announced that the right-back would be out until at least the start of May.

Stefan Bajcetic has started playing for the Under-21’s, however, the Spain international failed to travel to Atalanta in mid-week.

Alexander-Arnold and Alexis Mac Allister both played in Bergamo, however, in his post-match interview, Klopp admitted that the duo were running on empty.

It also feels likely that Diogo Jota could be reintroduced to the starting 11 as one of the main things Liverpool have been missing in recent weeks in a clinical attacker.

So, despite the Portugal international only just returning from injury, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the former Wolves man leading the attack.

The predicted line-ups for both teams

Fulham’s predicted starting 11: Leno; Castagne, Adarabioyo, Bassey, Robinson; Palhinha, Lukic; Iwobi, Pereira, Willian; Muniz.

Liverpool’s predicted starting 11: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Roberston, Endo, Mac Allister, Jones; Salah, Jota, Diaz.
