No player has ever won the World Cup, Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup. There are five current Liverpool players aiming to achieve that honour whilst representing their countries in the World Cup.
Each Liverpool player in Qatar have all reached the quarter finals with their international sides. We are likely to now see at least one Liverpool player play in the World Cup Final. Alisson Becker and Fabinho at this stage looks the most likely. Alisson has featured in all but one game and is going to be Brazil’s goalkeeper for the business end of the competition.
The Brazilian stopper has been immense when called upon. His coolness under pressure has been on display on numerous occasions.
Alisson Becker and Fabinho Tavares and their Brazilian compatriots face 2018 runners up Croatia on Friday. Netherlands captain Virgil Van Dijk leads the Dutch against Argentina just hours later.
On Saturday evening Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold take on the current world champions France.
Jude Bellingham singled Jordan Henderson out for special praise after England’s victory against Senegal
Jude Bellingham on Jordan Henderson: “I know he gets a little bit of stick but honestly I can’t understand it. He’s played so well in the last two games. It is a pleasure playing with him.” [Bein Sports]

The five players mentioned above have undeniably achieved greatness at club level on both the domestic and European scene. Each player played integral parts in each piece of silverware Liverpool have won in recent years. Can their very impressive honours lists hit new heights come December 18th in Qatar? An opportunity to make history is certainly on the table for the five Liverpool stars.
